A thorough and comprehensive NIS Ltd. Investigation Report pertaining to an accidental death claim is conducted for the purposes of assisting a claims professional in his or her administration of these complex and high-exposure claims. A NIS Ltd. Investigation Report will allow the claims professional to make informed decisions based on actionable and accurate results. The investigation will confirm cause of death, assisting adjudicators in assessing and determining with accuracy whether or not policy provisions have been met with circumstances established by the investigation. Issues pertaining to findings of accident, suicide, or homicide will be thoroughly addressed. A detailed accident analysis or reconstruction, if necessary, will be conducted for the purposes of independent verification of other findings from police, coroner, or other sources. If suicide or homicide, a detailed background investigation with concentration on areas of motive and foreseeability will be completed.
